Heres some more info on "Teen People's 25 Hottest People Under 25 special:
ABC.com, the official Web site of the ABC Television Network and part of GO.com, will reveal the results of its exclusive ``Teen People's 25 Hottest People Under 25'' on ABC Television's broadcast of ``Teen People's 25 Hottest People Under 25,'' Friday, May 26, 8 p.m. ET/PT, which will be hosted by 'N Sync's Justin Timberlake.
Fans clicked onto ABC.com to vote for their favorite hot young star, and the winner of the poll will be announced on air as part of the ABC Television broadcast. In addition, on May 15, ABC.com posted exclusive video clips of Teen People's 25 Hottest People Under 25, interactive polls and an extensive online store. (webmasters note: Unfortunately there is no clips of Carly or available items to purchase)The store, which is powered by iVendor, will feature movies and CDs of many of the Hottest 25.
During the May 26 telecast, Timberlake will direct viewers to click onto ABC.com for a chance to win fabulous prizes as part of the ``Watch and Win'' contest in which viewers will be asked to answer questions about the broadcast. Winners will have the opportunity to win signed CDs and autographed photos of the teen sensations, and a surprise grand prize. Visitors to the site also can see exclusive video interviews not seen during the telecast with some of the hottest stars.
Those vying for the coveted title of ``Who is the Hottest Teen of Them All'' include host Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, Drew Barrymore, Jason Biggs, Charlotte Church, Brandon Fehr, Hanson, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Mandy Moore, Carly Pope, Freddie Prinze Jr., Jessica Simpson, Britney Spears, Brian Litrell and Mena Suvari, to name a few.

It's official Popular has been renewed! It has been moved to Fridays at 9pm est after Sabrina the Teenage Witch (moving from ABC) and a new show called Grosse Pointe. The Wb says this about Popular and the new season:
In its debut season, Popular introduced us to Sam (Carly Pope) and Brooke (Leslie Bibb), polar opposites who are forced into sisterhood when their single parents make a love connection. With a unique sensitivity to contemporary issues, Popular resumes its masterful blend of surreal comedy and poignant drama as it launches into its second season. Brooke, Sam and their feuding cliques return to square off once again, and this year the stakes are even higher.

Slinking Around
Oh, to be young and Popular. Carly Pope and Leslie Bibb steal the show at the GLAAD Awards with their slinky, '20s-style dresses. Pope sports a short-in-front, long-in-back, ice-blue number from Lela Rose and adds a dash of sass with a dainty beaded bag and choker. Bibb keeps things simple with a sleek red number from Lura Starr.

"What would you like to see happen on the season finale of
your show?"
Carly's answer:
"I want Brooke and my character Sam to be together at home,
where they're most likely to communicate. We've been doing it since the very
beginning of the series - the two characters connect, but then it gets too
scary, so they back off again. I think it's neat to see how they're very
similar, yet some sort of pride keeps them apart."

Carly was voted one of the 25 hottest stars under 25 years old! in Teen People's june/july issue. In the small article it reads:
Carly Pope has the face of a glamour girl, so it's ironic that instead of playing, say, a debutante or a crimson-lipsticked siren, she's taken on Popular's unpopular Sam Mcpherson - and nailed the character's awkward uncertainty. She landed the part just six months after graduating from her Vancouver high school. But if you think Carly was an instant hit, think again. Upon arriving in L.A. she was passed over for a lead role in Roswell, which would have reunited her with old pal Brendan Fehr. Still; missed opportunities dont faze her. "This is a process of learning and growing and never actually getting to a certain point" Carly says. "Because if thats what you're looking for - a conclusion or an answer - then you've stopped growing"
